Consultations

The WHO QualityRights project is inherently consultative and collaborative.  This follows the ethos of the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities which not only seeks to promote the full and effective participation and inclusion in society of persons with psychosocial, intellectual and cognitive disabilities, but also to enhance dialogue between these persons, their families care partners and other supporters, as well as mental health and related practitioners, civil society organisations, Disabled Peoples’ Organizations, policy makers, governmental agencies and other stakeholders.

A number of consultation questions will be available through this site, allowing people around the world with expertise or experience on mental health and human rights issues to share their views in order to promote the rights of persons with psychosocial, intellectual and cognitive disabilities and improve quality of care in mental health and related services.
